EARLIER BULLETIN

In an earlier forecast, PAGASA said the weather disturbance may possibly get near the eastern part of Northern and Central Luzon. It may also possibly make landfall in the Northern and Central Luzon area, but the track and scenario may still change.

Its trough would bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon. Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

On Monday and Tuesday, October 21 and 22, 2024, the trough will most likely bring rains over the eastern part of Southern Luzon and a big part of Visayas. Then on Wednesday, rains may be expected over most parts of Luzon and Visayas.

Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms on Sunday due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.

Eastern Visayas and Bicol Region may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms on Sunday due to the trough of the LPA. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms on Sunday due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may result during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the seaboards of Northern and Central Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
