A patient stabbed dead a nurse at a hospital in Tagbilaran City, Province of Bohol.
The patient ran amok and stabbed the nurse with a pair of scissors while his discharge from the hospital in Barangay Bo-ol was being processed.
A co-worker of the nurse tried to help but was also injured in the attack.
The suspect was arrested but kept mum reportedly when personnel of the Tagbilaran City Police Station inquired of the reason to the attack.
“We are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident…we work closely with law enforcement and relevant authorities to ensure a comprehensive review,” a statement of Bohol Doctors Hospital over GMA 7’s “Balitanghali” newscast reads.
