Authorities have arrested more than 70 people wanted for various charges in Davao in just one week.
According to the Police Regional Office-Davao (PRO-11), up to 70 warrants of arrest were implemented from October 7 to 13, 2024, which resulted in the arrest of 77 wanted persons.
Of the 77 arrested, 29 were considered most wanted persons, including high-profile fugitives allegedly involved in serious crimes.
Some of them belong to the top 10 most wanted persons for various charges, including murder and rape.
The other 48 wanted persons were also arrested in separate operations.
PRO-11 said the efforts to arrest the wanted persons are part of the its relentless pursuit to bring justice to the victims.
