A woman was arrested for selling unregistered beverages in Barangay 14, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte.
The operation, including the arrest, was carried out by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
Authorities seized hundreds of drinks valued at over P176,000.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed that the products were not approved for sale.
The woman is facing charges for violating the Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009 and the Consumer Act of the Philippines.
She is yet to release a statement, as of this writing.
