At least 17 people were injured after a jeepney collided with a mixer truck in Castilla, Sorsogon.
According to reports from 24 Oras weekend, the jeepney was headed toward Sorsogon City, while the truck was headed to Legazpi City.
The accident occurred when the jeepney veered into the opposite lane, where it collided with the truck.
Footage from the scene showed the jeepney's front completely wrecked, with some passengers sprawled on the road.
The injured were taken immediately to the hospital for treatment.
