The Bureau of Internal Revenue-Davao (BIR-11) has reminded those who are running in the 2025 national and local polls to register with the bureau and issue receipts in transactions related to the election campaign.
BIR-11 Director, Esmeralda Tabule, said candidates must issue a receipt for all donations and campaign materials from sponsors and supporters.
Candidates may register after filing their certificate of candidacy (COC).
BIR-11 launched “Oplan Iboto” to remind candidates of their tax obligations every election season.
