Patrick Caramat officially filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for mayor of Calasiao, Pangasinan, following in the footsteps of his late mother, former Mayor Mamilyn Caramat.
Caramat will run alongside incumbent Mayor Kevin Roy Macanlalay, who is vying for the vice mayor position.
As they filed their COCs on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, they were welcomed by their supporters and party members from the Nacionalista Party.
According to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in Calasiao, a total of 11 candidates have already filed for councilor positions as of 10 a.m. on October 8.
