Six fishermen were rescued after their boat broke down while sailing to Romblon from Marinduque on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
The operation was conducted by the Banton Municipal Police Station and the Coast Guard Station Banton.
The fishermen, all residents of Romblon, had traveled to Marinduque to participate in a fishing competition on October 5.
On their way back, their boat encountered mechanical issues, leaving them stranded at sea.
Authorities responded swiftly to help the fishermen repair their boat, allowing them to continue their journey safely back to Romblon.
