The victim, Police Station 2 chief, Captain Abdulcahar Armama, was shot approximately 100 meters from his house past 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Police said the suspects waited for him to come out of his car.

Investigation disclosed that Armama sustained a gunshot wound on the right side of his head. He did not reach the hospital alive.

PRO-10 also assured that all necessary actions will be undertaken to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“Such an act of violence against those who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting the community is abhorrent and unacceptable,” PRO-10 said.

PRO-10 also urged those who have knowledge and information that could help in the investigation to come forward and cooperate with authorities.

“We must stand united in rejecting violence and ensuring that justice is served,” PRO-10 added.
