A rider was killed while his companion was injured in a road crash involving a motorcycle and a prime mover truck in Calinan, Davao City dawn on Friday, October 4, 2024.
Police said the truck came from Calinan Poblacion while the motorcycle was on the opposite lane.
Upon reaching the Davao-Bukidnon Highway, the motorcycle allegedly moved to the opposite lane and crashed into the truck.
Because of the impact, the rider was thrown off and died while his female companion was brought to the hospital.
The truck driver is now under police custody and did not issue a statement.
