Incumbent Sual, Pangasinan Mayor Liseldo Calugay is seeking a third term, filing his certificate of candidacy on October 3, 2024.
Calugay was joined by his supporters during the filing of his COC.
Calugay, running under the Abante Pangasinan Ilocano (API) party, is facing controversy due to his alleged links to former Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, who was dismissed over POGO operations.
Calugay will be up against Arthur Celeste Jr., son of Pangasinan 1st District Congressman Arthur Celeste, in the upcoming mayoral race.
