Heavy rains from Typhoon #JulianPH triggered a landslide in Abra, blocking a major road and causing disruptions in nearby provinces.

A section of a mountain in Sitio Bituen, Barangay Lenneng, Licuan-Baay in Abra collapsed. The landslide buried part of a road, with fallen trees adding to the obstruction.

Authorities immediately began clearing operations to restore access.

Motorists were advised to drive cautiously in the area to avoid accidents.

In Quirino, Ilocos Sur, vehicles were unable to pass the spillway due to the river's rising water level, forcing residents to use a hanging bridge for safe passage.

In Calayan, Cagayan, residents worked together to secure boats by moving them to higher ground and tying them down to prevent damage from the strong winds.

Authorities have urged residents in affected areas to remain alert.

In Sta. Praxedes, Cagayan, 19 families from five barangays were evacuated as part of the safety precautions against the effects of the typhoon.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) continues to monitor their situation.
