Strong winds and heavy rain wreaked havoc in Pampanga, damaging at least 15 homes and other structures during a localized thunderstorm.

In Barangay Candating, Arayat, Teresa Pineda and her husband were having dinner when the thunderstorm hit.

"Sabi ng mister ko, dalian niyong kumain, may malakas na hangin... pagkapasok po namin sa loob, bigla pong umanong natanggal po yung bubong namin," Pineda said.

According to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), a total of 15 homes were damaged in the same barangay.

Despite the destruction, no one was hurt, and authorities have provided initial aid to the families affected.

Strong winds also caused damage in Clark where part of a building’s roof was ripped off.

In Angeles City, large billboards and streetlights along Abacan Bridge fell, with a vehicle getting crushed by a broken post.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued thunderstorm advisories for the area, warning of strong winds and heavy rain.
