Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete has assumed formally as the new chief of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-11.
He replaced Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III who was designated as acting director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos, Jr. led the turnover ceremony on Friday, September 27, 2024.
Weeks before the reassignment, Torre led the service of the arrest warrant against Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, in Davao City. The operation at the KOJC compound lasted for about 16 days before Quiboloy decided to surrender on September 8, 2024.
