Two motorcyclists died in a head-on collision on the National Highway in Sinait, Ilocos Sur.
Dash cam footage reveals the moment a speeding motorcycle overtakes a van and crashes head-on into another motorcycle.
The impact threw one of the riders off his motorcycle. Both were rushed to the hospital but were declared dead on arrival.
The collision resulted in the death of both riders, 24 and 31 years old. They sustained severe injuries despite having worn helmets.
Authorities urge motorists to drive carefully.
“Mag-ingat po tayo, lalong lalo na ngayong tag-ulan. Huwag po tayo masyadong magpabilis ng takbo. Mas maganda na lang na ma-late tayo o makarating tayo sa pamilya natin na di tayo nadidisgrasya," PCPT. Bryan Romeo Lopez, Officer-in-Charge of Sinait Police Station, said.
