The Longos Elementary School in San Fabian, Pangasinan has been submerged in floodwaters for nearly three weeks, disrupting the education of its students and raising concerns for their safety.

This was caused by heavy rains from #EntengPH, followed by the southwest monsoon and recent storms.

The flooding has caused water to reach high levels in several classrooms and the schoolyard, making nine classrooms unusable.

This has been a longstanding issue for the school, which struggles with flooding every rainy season.

To minimize disruption to students' learning, the school has implemented class shifting.

The school said they require substantial funding for land filling to resolve the flooding issue.

For now, the school administration is coordinating with local government officials for assistance in elevating the school grounds, especially the pathways leading to the classrooms.
