Police have identified two persons of interest in the killing of a 30-year-old woman in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

Based on investigation, the two suspects were on board a motorcycle while waiting for the victim to come out of her house.

The victim sustained two gunshot wounds in the head.

Ralph Rexon Layug, said.

Authorities are looking into personal grudge as possible motive in the killing. However, investigators said the incident may also be related to illegal drugs.

Recovered from the crime scene were two empty shells of caliber .45 pistol and two bullets of a caliber 9mm pistol.

“Meron na tayong persons of interest at yan ang tinututukan natin and we will file a proper complaint sa Prosecutor’s Office,” Layug said.

Authorities urged the assailants to surrender and called on those who have knowledge about the incident to cooperate with the police.
