Eight individuals, including the drivers of two vehicles and six bus passengers, were injured in a crash involving a 12-wheeler truck and a passenger bus in Naguilian, Isabela.
The accident occurred on the highway in Barangay Palattao.
Based on initial investigation, both the bus and the truck were heading north when the 12-wheeler slowed down to enter a buying station.
The bus, following behind closely, failed to stop in time and hit the truck’s left side.
The impact also pushed the 12-wheeler into a parked 10-wheeler truck on the roadside.
All those injured were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
