Strong waves battered houses and displaced at least 30 families in Barangay Casinglot, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

One of those affected is the family of Anita Guinalang whose fence and part of the wall of her house were damaged. Her banca used for her livelihood was also damaged.

“Palihog ko atong mga humok og kasing-kasing ba maghangyo unta mi ninyo kami tibuok silingan diri nga inyo ming tabangan,” Guinalang said.

The strong waves also damaged the house of the Bortano family.
