Tropical Storm (TS) Bebinca entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 6 p.m. on September 13, 2024, according to state weather bureau PAGASA, and was assigned the domestic name #FerdiePH

Earlier, Severe Tropical Storm (STS) "Bebinca" weakened into a tropical storm.

PAGASA issued Tropical Cyclone Advisory Number 6 on STS Bebinca weakening into a tropical storm at 11 a.m. on September 13, 2024.

As of 10 a.m., the center of TS Bebinca was estimated based on all available data at 1,500 km East of Extreme Northern Luzon (22.6°N, 136.2°E) packing maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 105 km/h, and central pressure of 992 hPa.

It was moving North northwestward at 20 km/h with strong to gale-force winds that extend outwards up to 680 km from the center.
