Two barangay employees from Iligan City were arrested in Cagayan de Oro for allegedly asking for ‘extra service’ from two female therapists at a massage clinic.

The two are reportedly members of the barangay dispute mediator council or Lupong Tagapamayapa of a barangay in Iligan City.

According to the complainants, the suspects allegedly asked for ‘extra service’ during the massage. One of them allegedly touched the private part of one of the complainants.

“Automatically, pagtawag sa atoa, atong kapulisan diri sa Police Station 2 Cogon. Automatically, nagresponde man pud kita ug na-arrest man pud nato ang katung duha ka mga suspek,” Cogon Police Statioin Chief, Capt. Adbulcahar Armama, said.

GMA Regional TV One Mindanao is reaching out to the suspects for comment.

Armama said the suspects reportedly said they were under the influence of alcohol at that time.

“Base sa atong investigation nga naka-angkon man pud ang atong duha ka suspek nga under sila sa influence sa alcohol… naka-inom sila,” Armama said.

The suspects may face charges for acts of lasciviousness and unjust vexation.

Authorities reminded the public: “Kung mahimo, dili lang ta musulod didto nga hubog kay, syempre, pag hubog man ta, medyo malahi man gyud ang atong huna-huna. Unta dili lang pud ni mautro ug last na unta ni nga higayon nga mahitabo ni,” Armama said.
