The chief of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) has disclosed that five women have reportedly come forward and alleged they were molested by Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

Atty. Mark Tolentino, a member of Quiboloy’s legal team, described the allegations ‘fake’ and ‘planted.’

He said they are ready to face the allegations and denied that Quiboloy has ‘angels of death,’ an alleged armed group.

DCPO Director, Col. Hansel Marantan, said the women, 13 to 25 years old, were former members of KOJC. Among the five are Americans and Europeans.

Marantan said he was able to talk personally with two of the alleged victims and spoke with the others through a video call following the Senate hearing in Davao City on September 6, 2024.

Marantan said he was able to ask the supposed victims why they did not get pregnant and this is reportedly because the pastor has had vasectomy.

“Bakit nga ba hindi kayo nabuntis to their narration Mr. Quiboloy is vasectomized. Sasabihin sa kanila ni Pastor Quiboloy na you are offering yourself to the anointed one. They were brainwashed, indoctrinated until they accepted their fate but mali yan under the law,” Marantan said.

The alleged victims were reportedly offered free education through a foundation as most of them came from a broken family.

They were also allegedly being eyed to become members of the so-called “pastoral.”

Atty. Israelito Torreon, chief legal counsel of KOJC, has earlier said that the children’s foundation was established to help children.

“One of the jobs the foundation is to help children who are orphans and take care of them to give them good upbringing,” Torreon earlier said.

Marantan said the alleged victims were afraid to complain reportedly because of Quiboloy’s supposed ‘connection’ and because of the ‘angels of death.’

“If there's a violation pag sinabi mong sexually molested ka by Quiboloy, papasok na ang angels of death to get even with you… to get even means papatayin ka at pati ang genes line mo mga magulang mo mga kapatid mo di ko pa na delve kung ilan ang namatay but ang alam ko meron na silang napatay,” Marantan added.

Marantan refused to allow the alleged victims to face the media as they will still secure sworn statements from them.

“Ang mensahe ko sa mga victims ito na ang chance to come up in the open, ito na, arestado na po si Quiboloy and others… you have seen how decided we were in implementing the arrest warrant to advance your cause… gusto namin kayong tulungan… we came in late lang we advanced your cause and seek justice for you,” Marantan said.
