A man in San Jacinto, Pangasinan suffered from a mild stroke while on the road and lost control of his pickup truck, which resulted in a collision with three other vehicles.

On September 8, 2024, closed circuit television (CCTV) footage captured a white pickup truck suddenly reversing and crashing into another pickup, a car, and a jeep parked in Barangay Guillermo.

Based on police investigation, the driver of the white pickup suffered from a mild stroke, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle.

He was taken to the hospital quickly and is now in stable condition.

"Allegedly nagkaroon siya ng mild stroke kaya nawalan siya ng kontrol, bumangga siya sa isang sasakyan. Nung nag-reverse siya, may sasakyan naman na parating kaya nabangga niya," PCPT Vladimir Lalas, Deputy Chief of the San Jacinto Police Station, said.

The four parties involved have already discussed the incident, and the pickup driver has promised to cover the damage caused by the accident.
