A 15-year-old girl from Calasiao, Pangasinan has gone missing after leaving school on September 2, 2024. Authorities are now searching for the girl.

The parents of Angeline Zara have sought help from their barangay in Doyong, Calasiao, after their daughter failed to return home on September 2.

Angeline's father, Robeth Balanquit, shared that his daughter attended school that morning, even asking for extra money for a project.

Classes were suspended in the afternoon due to heavy rain, and the family expected Angeline to return home early.

However, she never arrived, and attempts to reach her on her cellphone were unsuccessful.

"Mag-ala siyete ng gabi, nag-worry na kami kasi hindi kami sanay na hindi siya nagpapaalam. Halos lahat naikot na namin tapos wala talaga," Robeth said.

Closed circuit television (CCTV) footage from the barangay showed Angeline leaving the school at around 2:30 p.m.

She was last seen walking with some classmates and taking shelter at a nearby market stall to avoid the rain. After that, she continued walking, but was not seen again.

"Sana makauwi siya ng maayos. Kung may tampo siya sa amin, normal lang ['yun], dahil magulang lang kami na nagmamahal sa kanya," Robeth pleaded.

Police in Calasiao are now searching for Angeline.

"Lahat ng police station, pina-flash alarm ‘yung missing person natin," PLTCOL. Ferdinand Lopez, Chief of Calasiao Police Station, said.

Anyone with information on Angeline's whereabouts is urged to contact the Calasiao Police.
