The water level at the Naga river in Naga City, Camarines Sur reached critical evening on Sunday, September 1, 2024, due to heavy rains caused by #EntengPH, prompting the local government to recommend evacuation. 

Specifically, residents in low-lying areas have been advised to evacuate as the river might overflow.

Pigaabisohan na an mga nakaistar sa hababang lugar na mag-ebakwar na bago pa man maglangkaw pa an tubig," reads a post on Naga City Information Portal. 

Several areas in the city were flooded Sunday night with floodwaters almost entering a hotel.

#EntengPH has maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving Northwestward at 15 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, according to PAGASA Visayas in a 5 p.m. bulletin on September 1.
