A former barangay chairman in Cebu City tagged as “Top 1 Most Wanted” was arrested at past 2 p.m. on August 28, 2024.
Personnel of the Lapu-Lapu City Police served a warrant of arrest for estafa against the 57-year-old former barangay captain while he was at an area he has been staying in Purok Balanghoy, Barangay Gun-ob.
According to Police Lt. Col. Christian Torres, spokesperson of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office, the suspect is tagged as “Top 1 Most Wanted” in the list of Police Station 3.
The suspect posted bail immediately after the arrest.
The identity of the suspect has been withheld pending his statement.
