The Police Regional Office (PRO)-11 has denied allegations it will bomb the compound of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) in Davao City.

PRO-11 spokesperson, P/Maj. Catherine dela Rey, said there is no truth to the information that has circulated.

“Kaya, sa lahat ng mamamayan, mga kababayan natin, huwag agad kayong maniniwala sa lahat ng mga pinapalabas nilang mga kasinungalingan,” Dela Rey said.

She urged the public to not spread unverified information.

“Sana naman po ay huwag nyong i-spread ang mga fake news na pinapalabas nila,” she said.

Wednesday, August 28, 2024, is the fifth day policemen have searched for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy at the KOJC compound.

They have not found the pastor, as of this writing.

Images obtained by GMA Regional TV One Mindanao showed the Ground Penetrating Radar the police used to detect heartbeat at the KOJC Cathedral.

A red indicator in the red reportedly means heartbeat is detected.

The police are convinced Quiboloy and four other accused in trafficking cases are just hiding in the compound.

The KOJC has asked the court to order authorities to explain their continued presence at the compound despite the court’s issuance of a Temporary Protection Order (TPO).

The Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 15 in Davao City clarified that the TPO did not cancel the processes related to service of the warrants of arrest but also emphasized that Philippine laws and jurisprudence require that the manner in which a warrant of arrest is enforced should be “necessary and reasonable.”
