A woman was hit by a motorcycle while crossing the national highway in Barangay San Miguel, Bato, Camarines Sur around 7 p.m. on August 23, 2024.
Mary Grace Montanoz Golgota, a witness and resident, said the impact caused the woman to hit her head in the pavement.
"Nag-da-drive po siya [yung drayber ng motor] pa-sadi. Tapos [yung biktima] natama[an] po siya ng motor, edi tumalsik yung ulo niya, kaya nakahiga po siya," Golgota said.
Personnel from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) arrived at the scene quickly.
The motorcycle driver has been brought to police custody.
