Authorities seized suspected shabu worth nearly P14 million and arrested six people in separate operations in Bangsamoro and Davao regions.

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) confiscated around a kilo of suspected shabu worth nearly P7 million in a buy-bust operation in Cotabato City.

PDEA-BARMM agents arrested two men during the operation.

A 40-year-old man was also arrested with suspected shabu worth around P3.4 million in another operation in Malabang, Lanao del Sur.

Meanwhile, the top six and top eight high value targets in the illegal drug trade in Davao City and Davao region were also collared in a sting operation.

Seized from the suspects were sachets of suspected shabu worth more than P1.4 million.

In Tagum City, a 38-year-old man was arrested with suspected shabu worth around P2.1 million during a drug raid.

Police also seized from the suspect a caliber .22 firearm and bullets.

All suspects arrested are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. The suspect arrested in Tagum City will also face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition and Regulation Act.
