Authorities raided a massage clinic in Pagadian City allegedly used as a ‘prostitution den’ and rescued three alleged victims of human trafficking.

Police and agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) also arrested a woman for alleged violation of the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.

NBI said the therapists at the massage parlor allegedly performed lascivious activities as part of their massage services, which would cost P700 to P2,000, depending on the service the customer wanted to avail.

After surveillance, NBI agents confirmed that the massage clinic was offering “extra service,” prompting the agency to launch an entrapment and rescue operation.

The three people rescued were turned over to social workers for assessment while the suspect was brought to the Prosecutor’s Office for inquest proceedings.

NBI said the owner of the massage clinic will also face the same charges.
