An unidentified man was shot dead while walking on the street in Barangay 21, Cagayan de Oro past 5 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2024.
Police said the victim is between 30 to 35 years old and stands about five feet four inches tall.
Based on initial investigation, the suspect shot the victim and fled immediately.
Investigators said the victim succumbed to a gunshot wound on the left side of his chest.
The victim was brought to a funeral home after he was declared dead by authorities.
Investigation into the shooting continues to identify the perpetrator and determine the motive.
