Ilocos Norte has been placed under a state of calamity following extensive damage to infrastructure and agriculture caused by the southwest monsoon, intensified by #CarinaPH.
The onslaught has inflicted over P1 billion worth of damage to infrastructure and agriculture.
The calamity has affected 134 barangays and 3,288 families across the province.
The declaration would allow the province to access its calamity funds.
Authorities have provided assistance to the families affected.
