At least 12 houses in Sitio Million Flower, Barangay Looc, Lapu-Lapu City were destroyed by a fire that broke out in the afternoon of July 25, 2024.
Eight houses were damaged while the other four were damaged partially.
No one was reported hurt in the incident.
The fire left behind damages estimated to be worth P7.5 million.
As of posting time, the Lapu-Lapu City Fire District has not established yet the cause of the fire.
They are still collating information through testimonies of residents to establish whether the fire was set on purpose, according to SFO1 Walter Tello, chief investigator of the Lapu-Lapu City Fire District.
