#CarinaPH, along with the Southwest Monsoon, has brought relentless rains to Central Luzon, resulting in severe flooding across Pampanga, Olongapo City, and other areas.

Several areas in Pampanga have been inundated due to continuous heavy rainfall. At least 17 barangays in Masantol have experienced severe flooding.

In Olongapo City, major roads including Anonas, 23rd Street, 23rd City Hall, Ulo ng Apo, and Rizal 21st West were submerged in flood.

This has led to slow traffic flow, with some residents forced to wade through floodwaters.

The storm's impact extended to Zambales, where a hanging bridge in Sta. Cruz connecting Brgy. Babuyan and Infanta in Pangasinan collapsed.

According to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO), the river’s water level rose rapidly, causing the bridge's collapse. The Provincial Engineering Office is now inspecting the damaged bridge.

“Mino-monitor po namin ‘yung situation doon sa area, hindi naman po isolated ‘yung area dahil mayroon naman pong kalsada na daan papunta po doon sa Barangay Babuyan. Wala naman pong reported na casualty or affected during nasira ang tulay," Rolex Estella, Zambales DRRMO Officer, said.

In Bataan, landslides have been reported in Brgy. Baseco Country and Brgy. Malaya in Mariveles due to the ongoing rainfall.

At least 50 families have been evacuated. The Bataan DRRM Officer said landslides in high-risk areas necessitated the evacuation of residents.

“Dahil po sa ilang reported po na pagguho ng lupa, landslide po, ‘yung iba po since medyo delikado ‘yung area nila, very high risk and prone po sa landslide, kaya minabuti po na in-evacuate po sila," Arvin Catipon, Bataan DRRMO Officer, said.

In Aurora, the road connecting Barangay Dipanamyuan and Dibut Road has been rendered impassable after a temporary bridge was washed away by strong currents. Alternate routes allowed affected residents to return home.

Tourist-related activities have been suspended due to the adverse weather conditions.

Despite the heavy rains, enrollment for the upcoming school year continues in Cabanatuan City, though tricycle drivers are facing difficulties in transportation.

Local officials are urging residents to remain vigilant and prepared as the typhoon continues to affect the region.
