Several bus trips from Dagupan City to Manila have been canceled due to severe flooding affecting parts of EDSA White Plains in Manila.

On July 24, cellphone videos captured the extent of the flooding along EDSA White Plains, with water levels causing significant disruptions.

Despite attempts by some motorists to drive through the rising waters, the flooding has made it difficult for buses to operate.

As a result, bus terminals in Dagupan City have canceled trips to Manila due to impassable routes caused by the high water levels.

Some passengers have been stranded for hours as no buses have arrived.

Bus operators have assured that services will resume as soon as the flooding subsides.

Meanwhile, travel to Baguio City from the Dagupan City van terminal is continuing as usual.

"Sa ngayon matumal, kasi [kapag] ganitong may bagyo bihira lang ang umaakyat," Ben Gallardo, a van operator, said.

"Gagamit sana ako ng sasakyan kaso medyo traffic kaya mas safe na commute nalang ako kaysa magdala ng sasakyan," Patrick Bartolome, a passenger, said.

Operators are closely monitoring weather conditions and road conditions to ensure safe travel for passengers.
