Classes and school-related activities in Bataan and Cavite are suspended today, July 22, 2024, due to the anticipated heavy rains and strong winds from Severe Tropical Storm “Carina.”

In Bataan, all public and private schools in Bataan suspended classes and school-related activities.

This decision follows the latest PAGASA report and the recommendation of the Bataan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

In Cavite, Governor Jonvic Remulla has declared the suspension of classes in all levels across the province for July 22, 2024, as announced on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

The suspension is in response to the potential for sudden flooding due to Tropical Storm Carina.

Residents are advised to prepare and follow safety measures to avoid accidents and damage.
