A 39-year-old rider was killed when the motorcycle he was driving crashed into another motorcycle in Bansalan, Davao del Sur evening on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
The rider was identified as Jeronn Baloco.
Police said Baloco was heading to Sitio Balutakay while the other motorcycle driven by a 33-year-old rider came from Sitio Balutakay and was going to Barangay Managa.
The 33-year-old rider allegedly moved to Baloco’s lane, which caused the collision.
Baloco sustained severe injuries and did not reach the hospital alive.
The rider of the other motorcycle also sustained minor injuries.
He was taken to the police station and may face charges. He did not give a statement.
