Following the discovery of plastic bags containing illegal drugs along the shores of Agno, the Pangasinan Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have intensified their joint seaborne monitoring in the waters of Western Pangasinan.

On July 6 and July 9, authorities recovered twelve plastic bags filled with shabu, estimated to be worth millions of pesos.

The enhanced operations cover monitoring entry and exit points at ports and ensuring internal security within the province's territorial waters.

“Maaring diversionary tactics ito. We will not lower our guards, pati sa kalsada magbabantay tayo, kasi ang mga sindikato [baka] nagkalat [lang] along shoreline para doon ang concentration ng PNP,” PCOL Jeff Fanged, Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPO) Director, said.
