Despite an arrest warrant issued by the Senate, suspended Mayor Alice Guo of Bamban, Tarlac remains unaccounted for, with no signs of her at the municipal office or her alleged residence at a local farm.

For three days, GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon monitored the farm where Guo supposedly lives, but employees were not willing to speak with the media.

Police interviews with farm workers revealed that Guo has not returned to the farm for a while.

However, police interviews with farm workers revealed that Guo has not returned to the farm for a while.

The farm in Bamban, Tarlac, remains closed two days after representatives from the Senate's Sergeant-at-Arms and local police arrived to serve the arrest order.

Guo was not found on the premises, nor was she seen at the municipal office as of July 15, 2024.

Acting Vice Mayor Erdy Timbang noted the absence of protests or rallies in support of Guo since the arrest order was issued, contrasting with earlier public displays of support during the first hearing.

"Hindi tulad noong una, noong first hearing na talagang nag-prayer rally. Wala na po ngayon, hindi tulad ng dati, tumahimik ngayon,” Timbang said.

Meanwhile, Guo’s supporters said they’re disappointed with the Senate's order to arrest her, which is related to her failure to attend hearings on the issue of POGOs (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators) in Bamban, Tarlac.

The Acting Mayor and Acting Vice Mayor have been in office for over a month.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is prepared to provide security should the arrest warrant needs to be served again.
