Meanwhile, some areas in Davao City were also flooded following heavy rains evening on Wednesday.
According to PAGASA, the bad weather was caused by the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).
The state weather bureau also said La Niña is still on its transition period and its effect will be felt next year.
“Ngayon po yung mga impacts unti-unti na nating nararamdaman. Although nasa transition period pa rin po tayo. Nasa neutral condition pa run ang pacific,” Davao PAGASA Station Weather Specialist, Alan Rey Ribo, said.
