A 26-year-old massage therapist was stabbed multiple times by a 28-year-old fellow therapist at an inn in Vigan City.

Both of them are from Nueva Ecija.

Based on police investigation, other colleagues heard the two men arguing inside their shared room.

"Pinilit ng mga may-ari ng transient house na buksan iyon, and then nakita [nalang nila] yung duguan na biktima at saka yung suspek," PLTCOL Reynaldo Mendoza Jr., Officer-in-Charge of Vigan City Police Station, said.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and received medical treatment.

The suspect was arrested on the spot, and the weapon used in the stabbing was recovered.

Police said the suspect was drunk during the incident.

The investigation continues as of this writing.
