Authorities have apprehended in Rosario, Cavite a 47-year-old man who is facing charges for five counts of rape and who has been evading arrest for nearly a decade.
The suspect is listed as a National Municipal Most Wanted Person by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
A warrant was issued against him on May 14, 2013 following incidents in Virac, Catanduanes.
"Ito [ang krimen] po ay nangyari dito sa Virac, Catanduanes and the accused ay lumipat po sa Cavite," PMAJ. Allan Uy, Provincial Chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Catanduanes, said.
