Two employees of the local government of Valencia City in Bukidnon died after they were electrocuted while cleaning a settling pond at a fish landing center in Barangay Bagontaas.
Police said the victims, 42 and 60 years old, were employees of the city government under permanent and job order status, respectively. Their companion survived.
Authorities said the three were reportedly cleaning the settling pond when they were electrocuted.
No foul play was noted.
