A 15-year-old high school student and a 34-year-old tricycle driver, both male, were found dead in a grassy area in Sitio Maristela, Barangay Asid, Masbate City.

Both the victims were from Barangay Espinosa.

According to the police, the victims were found with their hands and feet tied, and gunshot wounds to their heads.

Based on initial investigation, the bodies were dumped in the area, with no signs of a struggle.

So far wala namang nakitang mayroong struggle," PLTCOL. Ariel Neri, Masbate City Police Chief, said.

Rose Marie Motita, the wife of the 34-year-old victim, said her husband left home to attend a matter involving a motorbike.

"Baga diri ko kaya na makita. Grabe kahirap pagkamatay sang asawa ko, anong klase an pagpatay ninda sa asawa ko, ginawa na nilang baboy," Motita said.

Evangeline Baral, the mother of the 15-year-old victim, said her son went out to ask for money to buy food but never returned home.
