A 48-year-old man was killed after the truck he was fixing ran over him on the national highway in Davao City.
Police said the driver stopped at KM.12 in Barangay Sasa. Based on a witness’ account, the driver reportedly went under the truck and appeared to be fixing one of the tires at the back. However, the truck reportedly moved forward and ran over the man.
The driver reportedly had no one assisting him at that time.
When checked later, it was found out that the brake hose has been detached, allegedly.
Authorities are still investigating the incident, as of this writing.
