The man who was swept away by floodwaters in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur was found dead floating at sea.
Authorities identified the man as Ramil Dulay, 47.
Dulay was found by a fisherman three days after he was swept away by raging waters in Barangay Coronon afternoon on Sunday, June 30.
Dulay’s sister said earlier that Ramil was believed to have been under the influence of alcohol when he was seen on video going down a creek and into the water.
“Murag naa daw to siya’y gipunit ata to diria nga basura ba to o kahoy ba to iyahang gipunit. Unya pagkahuman siguro nanghunaw.
