Starting July 1 until July 30, 2024, motorists traveling on CAVITEX will enjoy toll-free passage.
This decision comes after the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) approved the Philippine Reclamation Authority's (PRA) recommendation to suspend toll collection temporarily.
The initiative was prompted by the directive of the Philippine President to ensure the immediate implementation of a 30-day toll holiday for the benefit of commuters and public transport users.
This move is part of a broader effort to promote newly constructed sections of the expressway.
