Closed circuit television (CCTV) footage captured a brazen move to steal gadgets at a store in Lemery, Batangas worth over P1.2 million.

CCTV footage shows four men entering the store early in the morning.

One of them headed straight to the counter, appearing to search for something. Another man, carrying a container, stuffed cellphones and other gadgets there, while another attempted to open a cabinet.

Minutes later, two more men entered.

Police said the suspects used bolt cutters to break the padlock of the store's roll-up door.

Authorities also noted a lookout on board a motorcycle.

Police said one of the suspects used to be a delivery person.

"Siya ay dati nag-deliver one-time, tsaka may complete name and address siya doon sa app na naka-save pa rin sa kaniya," PLTCOL. Ronie Siriban, Office in Charge of the Lemery Police Station, said.

Police said the suspects left to the direction of Tagaytay.

"For sure they are not from Lemery, mga dayo sila dahil paglabas nila, pagtangay ng mga gadgets like laptops and cellphones. Umalis po sila... paakyat po ng Tagaytay area ang punta nila palabas," Siriban said.

A robbery complaint has been filed against the suspects.

Police advised the public to be careful and not trust people easily.

"Mag-ingat po sa mga ganyan na mga nagde-deliver lang sa store. Huwag magtiwala sa ganoon, maging aware sa lahat ng ganiyang bagay and makakatulong talaga ang installation ng CCTV sa ganiyang mga establishment," Siriban said.
