The Capas Police have deployed a drone to locations visited by the missing couple, Geneva Lopez and Yitshak Cohen, for its ocular inspection to gather additional evidence and expedite the search for the couple.
The search was unsuccessful.
"Sa pagco-conduct po natin ng ocular inspection sa site at saka sa area nung nasunog na sasakyan wala tayong nakitang kahit ano mang sign ng nung katawan ng tao nina [Lopez at Cohen] or ano mang komusyon sa lugar," PLTCOL. Librado Manarang, Jr., Chief of Capas Police Station, said.
Cohen's brother said their family hopes that their loved ones are still alive.
“We have no interest in any issues or any problem, we are just looking to recover our brother and Geneva. Our assumption is they’re still alive. We did not have any address for anyone for ransom so we are hoping that they will actually contact us,” Cohen's brother said.
Cohen's family has offered a reward of P250,000 to anyone who can provide information about the whereabouts of the couple.
“If anyone saw or know anything we are really looking to recover our brother and his fiance and we are offering this money in return for valid information to find my brother and his fiance,” Cohen's brother said.
