Three individuals, including a minor, were injured after a train hit the tricycle they were riding in Barangay Taladong, Camalig, Albay.
Closed circuit television (CCTV) footage shows the tricycle moving steadily before stopping abruptly on the train tracks as the train approached.
The train was headed to Legazpi City, Albay from Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Despite the driver's attempt to reverse, the train hit the tricycle.
The force of the impact caused the tricycle to tip over. The driver and passengers, including a 58-year-old woman and a one-year-old child, were injured.
"Su driver, dakula su tama digdi sa may [braso], tapos duman sa payo. Si tugang ko naman iyo an tama digdi sa may balikat, si aki... duman sa payo an tama," Ameldo Navia, the Barangay Captain, said.
The victims were on their way home after running errands when the accident occurred.
The Philippine National Railways (PNR) has reportedly already spoken to the victims.
